NJ FID CARD
REQUIRED - NJ FID Card (New Jersey Firearms ID card) - If you do not have a New Jersey FID card, start the process here!
Ownership of A Handgun
REQUIRED - Ownership of a handgun - Ownership can be a purchase receipt or permit to purchase or a notarized letter of ownership listing the make model and serial number of the handgun(s). If you have an FID card but do not have a handgun, start the process here!
Fingerprinting
REQUIRED - Fingerprinting - All applicants must be fingerprinted for initial and renewal applications. Applicants can visit www.IDENTOGO.com to schedule an appointment. Fingerprint results must be received within ninety (90) days of application. Please contact your local police department for your personalized identification number.

Complete the NJ Permit to Carry application and submit with qualifications and certifications.
